Itinerary Highlights:

  • Day 1  Meet and greet at Manali pickup point. Catch up, acclimatize and rest. Shoot in Manali outskirts. Night stay in Manali.

  • Day 2  Sunrise shoot in Manali outskirts. Head to Kaza via Atal Tunnel and Kunzum Pass. Night stay in Kaza.

  • Day 3  Sunrise shoot in Kaza outskirts. Rest and acclimatize. Kaza day sightseeing and Evening/Astro shoots. Night stay in Kaza.

  • Day 4  Sunrise shoot in Kaza outskirts. Head to Key, Chicham and Kibber areas. Day and Evening/Astro Shoots. Night stay in Kaza.

  • Day 5 Head to Dhankar area. Visit Dhankar Monastery and Fort. Head to Mudh village in Pin Valley. Night shoot and stay in Mudh. 

  • Day 6 Head to Tabo and Gue villages. Explore and Shoot. Post that head to Langza while exploring Hikkim and Komik on the way. Explore the world's highest Post Office and the iconic Langza Buddha statue. Night shoot and stay in Langza.

  • Day 7  Sunrise shoot at Langza Buddha statue. Head to Chandratal later, via Kunzum pass. Night shoot and stay  at Chandratal campsite.

  • Day 8 Early morning shoot at Chandratal. Start to and reach Manali by evening. Bidding our goodbyes (with the hope of meeting again) and tour closure.

INCLUSIONS:

  • On location photography mentoring including planning, creative vision and shooting.

  • On location learning of beginner to advanced tips & techniques about landscape image making.

  • Image reviews and feedback during shoots and post shoot catch up sessions.

  • Complete post processing workflow sessions, during non-shoot hours.

  • A combined online post processing session for participants on images made during trip, after the tour.

  • Experiencing sample gears/kits by Nisi & Imaginext India, for shooting long exposures (on a shared basis)

  • Educational presentations and content.

  • Travel in comfortable vehicle.

  • Stays at comfortable Home stays or Budget properties, on twin sharing basis.

  • 2 Meals on all tour days (breakfast and dinner).

  • Last but not the least - a great time shooting, learning and making new friends.

EXCLUSIONS:​

  • To and from Manali travel arrangements/costs.

  • Expenses of personal nature including tips to locals, shopping etc.

  • Any cost arising out of emergencies (medical/otherwise) for any participant.

  • Any entry/camera/other fees, wherever applicable.

Photography gear expected from participants:

  • 1 Camera body

  • 1 Mid range zoom lens (24-70-105 range)

  • 1 Wide angle lens (16 mm or wider desirable)

  • 1 Telephoto lens (uptil 200mm, optional)

  • 1 sturdy tripod

  • 1 Camera bag

  • Camera accessories like memory cards, spare batteries, chargers, microfiber cloths, small towels etc.

  • Long exposure filter kits (absolutely optional. We can help provide).

  • Rain covers for bag (much needed. We recommend 2 in fact, for reliable water protection).

  • Poncho/Rain Jacket.

  • Thermal wears.

  • Do try and pack lighter than usual, in case you want to bring some local souvenirs back home.

Expectations for Participants:

  • Tour is Ex-Manali i.e., it covers expenses from Manali to Manali.

  • This will be a budget trip. We’ll ensure that stays are at comfortable properties, on a twin sharing basis.

  • Travel will be in comfortable vehicle.

  • Female participants are most welcome. Single occupancy will be provided if needed, on chargeable basis.

  • Non photography participants are most welcome too, but at the same tour cost.

  • The core theme for this excursion would be shooting and learning nature landscapes and travel photography.

  • Astro/Night time landscape shoots shall be conducted as per weather dynamics at locations.

  • Rising really early in mornings for pre-dawn/sunrise shoots.

  • Shoots extending into late evenings, twilights and night hours for Astro-landscape photography.

  • Respect for the place and people at all times.

  • Consideration and camaraderie with fellow participants during shoots and tour in general.

  • Adherence to general Covid protocols at all times.

  • A Whatsapp group shall be formed before the tour commences to facilitate communications and logistics.

Terms & Conditions:

  • 50% of the tour cost to be paid in advance for booking confirmation. Remaining 50% to be paid 15 Days before the tour.

  • Cancellation fee : 25% of the tour cost uptil 10 days prior, 100% of advance after that.

  • In case due to any unforeseen circumstance, a participant wishes to leave in between the trip, no refund shall be provided.

  • Tour plans are contingent to Covid situation. If the tour cancellations occur due to the same, then full refund shall be provided.

  • In case of mid tour cancellation due to any unforeseen event/natural calamity or any situation beyond our control, no pro-rated refund shall be provided.

  • There will be no refund for No Shows.
